Pet Policy - Important Notice
At our Airbnb retreat in Carlton Landing, we maintain a strict no-pet policy.
This means no animals of any kind—including dogs, cats, or any other pets—are permitted inside the home, in the backyard, front yard, side yard, or anywhere within the fenced property.
This policy is in place for several important reasons. Animals often mark territory, which can lead to lingering odors and damage that affect future guests. Additionally, maintaining a pet-free property allows us to uphold the immaculate, fresh, and allergen-conscious environment we are known for. Many guests choose our home specifically because it is pet-free, including those with allergies or sensitivities to pet dander and hair.
We take great pride in the cleanliness and condition of our property, both indoors and outdoors. Our goal is for every guest to arrive to a space that looks beautiful, feels welcoming, and smells fresh—free from pet hair, odors, or residue left behind by previous stays. We believe you’ll appreciate this standard the moment you arrive.
Please note: any violation of this policy will result in a $500 fee, as stated in our Airbnb listing, and immediate removal from the property without exception. The property is monitored, and this rule is strictly enforced to protect the experience of all guests.
If you’re traveling with pets, there is a local boarding facility in town called Lake Dog, or you may wish to arrange boarding prior to arrival. We kindly ask that you respect our house rules and understand that they are in place to ensure every guest—yourself included—enjoys a truly five-star, pet-free stay.
