Carlton Landing is a thoughtfully designed lakeside community known for its charm, walkability, and strong sense of neighborly respect. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the trails, community spaces, marina, and seasonal events while remembering this is also a full-time residential neighborhood. Quiet hours, courteous parking, and respectful behavior help preserve the special atmosphere that makes Carlton Landing such a sought-after destination.

Firefly Adventures is operated with the goal of providing a higher standard of hospitality than a typical vacation rental. We take great pride in offering an immaculate, well-maintained property that feels elevated, comfortable, and intentional. Regarding the farmhouse, we kindly ask that guests treat the home with the same care and respect they would their own. Many features—furnishings, finishes, and décor—have been intentionally selected to create a warm, refined experience. Please follow all house guidelines, especially those related to arrival, departure, and use of amenities, as they help us maintain consistency for every guest.

Most importantly, we want you to feel at home while knowing we’re always here if you need anything. Please take time to walk through the entire home, open cabinets and closets, and explore the kitchen—including the cabinets above the washer and dryer—so you can fully settle in. The house has been thoughtfully stocked with essentials to support a seamless 5-Star experience.

The community fire pit located in front of the home is stocked with firewood by the Carlton Landing HOA and offers a perfect place to gather, roast marshmallows, or simply relax with loved ones.

Climate Control

For your comfort, the property includes multiple temperature zones so each space can be adjusted independently.

Farmhouse

• Two thermostats are located in the main home — one upstairs and one downstairs — allowing separate temperature control for each level.

Cottage

• The back cottage is equipped with two mini-split units (one upstairs and one downstairs), each operated by its own handheld remote.

Switching Between Heat & Air Conditioning

To change modes on the mini-split units, gently slide open the bottom panel of the remote to access the settings, where you can select heat, cool, or fan.

Kitchen & Appliance Instructions

The kitchen is equipped with a conventional oven and induction cooktop designed for both safety and efficiency.

Induction Stove Safety & Use

• The cooktop only heats when compatible cookware is placed on the surface.

• Special pots and pans provided in the home are induction-compatible and must be used for cooking.

• Other cookware may not activate the stove as part of its built-in safety feature.

• The cooktop surface itself remains cool to the touch, helping reduce burn risk.

Trash & Disposal

Two blue designated trash bins for Firefly Adventures are located in the back alley. Please use these bins for all bagged household trash during your stay.
